Ketoconazole

Ketoconazole is an antifungal agent that also disrupts the androgen receptor pathway locally. It reduces scalp inflammation and fungal load (Malassezia), both of which can contribute to hair loss. Some evidence suggests it may inhibit DHT binding at the follicular level.
