Mechanism of Action

Omega-3 fatty acids (EPA and DHA) modulate inflammatory pathways by competing with arachidonic acid for cyclooxygenase enzymes, reducing pro-inflammatory prostaglandins and leukotrienes. This anti-inflammatory effect may help resolve the chronic low-grade inflammation associated with hair follicle miniaturization and telogen effluvium.
