Mechanism of Action

Tea tree oil has broad-spectrum antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory properties. Terpinen-4-ol, its main active component, reduces scalp inflammation and combats Malassezia fungi associated with dandruff and seborrheic dermatitis. A healthier scalp environment may indirectly support hair retention.
